May 12 –25, 10am-4pm, Monday – Saturday; 1-4pm Sunday.
May 26 – Sept. 1, 9am-8pm, Monday – Saturday; 1-8pm Sunday.
Sept. 2 – 30, 10am-4pm, Monday – Saturday; 1-4pm Sunday.
Old Time Country Fair
July 4-6 2008, daily from 10am-6pm
Held on the grounds of the Museum, this event features vendors offering their hand made items for sale, pie baking contests, a 4th of July Children’s Parade, entertainment stage, demonstrations in historic arts and crafts, Meet the Authors book signings, children’s activities, and much, much more! Custer Stampede Buffalo Artists Reception

A great opportunity to visit with the artists who have created one-of-a-kind works of art on specially cast life-sized buffalo figures and purchase other artwork directly from the artists. The Haunting!

The historic building becomes a haunted Museum for a night of fun for all ages. Admission $2 per person, or $1 + one can of food for the Custer Food Pantry Judging of carved pumpkins by the Custer Area Arts Council and a Halloween Carnival at the Elementary School Gym
Christmas at the Museum Open House
December 6, 2008 from 11am-7pm
Enjoy the sights, sounds, and aromas of an old-fashioned Christmas in the three-story Museum decked for the holidays inside and out. Entertainment, special seasonal displays, and the opportunity for youngsters to make old-fashioned Christmas decorations to take home will make your visit a holiday treat.
